There is no 200 photo limit on flickr anymore... Free account user have 1 TerraByte space and can upload as much photos they want to... since 2013... Here is link to a page that helps you understand differencies about old and nwe accounts. |

How small is small?
Well, if it's bigger than 23x16mm, then it is huge! |

To post pictures from google photos one has to take a link to the photo, e.g. the "actual link" from above, and add "#.jpg" at the end of it. If you ask me why then the answer is - because this is what Dyxum app requires ![]() So, the link which will work on Dyxum is: https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/2hHa9fHuHR2aRkiWUl4oYi9dguEwwRV0xNOLMGHPhw=w1040-h693-no#.jpg And here's example how the above works: ![]() |

Also I tried opening your entire album (link in the "Show us Bodie" thread) and Google returned I wasn't allowed to open that page. So you might have to look at your security settings as well. But as MiPr demonstrated above your individual shot from Bodie shows OK now. |

I have searched Dyxum best I can for this specific issue and not found it so I thought I'd share my findings here as it may help others.
I've signed up for the Octoberfest challenge but as I shall be on holiday abroad for two of the weeks I wanted to be sure I had some sort of workflow while I'm away. I shall be taking my NEX6 and an ipad mini and will have access to wifi (albeit not the superfast that I'm lucky enough to have in my little rural cottage in Rutland!) This workflow seems to work okay in a test run: 1. Take photo, fit Apple adapter for sd card into ipad (using another adapter converter from the original wide connection to the latest narrow one) to upload images onto ipad. 2. Carry out whatever post processing needed, including to reduce image size, using Photogene app. 3. Upload image to my Flickr account. 4. This is the tricky bit as I need the BBCode to paste into a new Dyxum post: Assuming you know how to get the BBCode option on a computer the difficulty is extracting the full text on an ipad! so tap on the BBCode in the box once, it will flash grey once. Then with two fingers at the 'same time' tap on the same BBcode in the box and iOS will select the entire text automatically and provide a 'copy' request. Tap copy and go to Dyxum. Paste into a new post box and I usually delete the second [url] to [url] section to remove the Flickr text. Ensure Enable BBcodes is ticked as normal and Bob's your Uncle (or moderator in this instance ![]() Hope this helps and apologies if it has already been discussed. This also assumes previous understanding of posting images from Flickr that has been covered extensively elsewhere, including posting thumbnails. Brian Edit: Final para explanation. MiPr, I've only just realised I didn't thank you for your response - my apologies, and thanks now! ![]() I've since moved to Joomeo which seems a little more friendly. |

Hi all,
Since a couple of days it seems not possible to create a link from google Photos anymore. Curent link does have uge amount of characters, which used to be different (as mentioned in Mipr'spost above). Anybody else with simular experience? Below an example of an image that I posted before: https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/RMQOBbUardG3_VyagNHbDjFziKYyHaYGuZ_FYi6IzqljhZQwLqLOBEHyy-Uik3pOt7xPBsDpB7kme4cP2Z742ZfTReNE46As66gjlJasVn1FJ2quTaz5Et22sJ_VJuCThb1D45LEjXhU3OG7xBMonMH8dSukoFMN9BOccAQ27mxRwSd8j76BxXWYxReSmaiuiXhhMqFfET1g-tNh0GKrZ4QVKMasvl5KDo7g6oGDUQgBOIpcXCuHVrpkP8OtCQEGxGDyeH4-AWfPJYGkWPneF8VsB6l1c8I6rUAt-RcSdbW5EeSahvGeAGbNnBh1BvytbTkC6JdqOfmUAt5STaiSH4pxvQBDsIngbpLkQxUa5zYx1Ljeznh8JT1FjVfTQLFUC3xhCBd7dkFcPTr5CokMgMRuVs_zhv-cBCtYPDDKUOgA4gWQusdRwYDxT7tLPKZbz9HhF8R9LL0n3DHIjYD4joiPj2yz41GPouOIx4WqWIk3qHMV8jIGvZCUboznkUCe4Chc4IsDYfUSzqxcFV5FBi5f0QNVLoaxfivnsvlWUw=w608-h912-no Here the link that I used some time ago for thesame image: https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/ib8Cwz-BBTsHtmqZjaLXH7vcwfMMzAB2K_o-aNcefw=w601-h901-no#.jpg This is not funny ![]() Regards, Fred. |

![]() Works for me.... you need the image tags. Remove the spaces, but use that link and add [img]https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/ib8Cwz-BBTsHtmqZjaLXH7vcwfMMzAB2K_o-aNcefw=w601-h901-no#.jpg[ /img ] |

Hi TheEmrys,
Thanks for your responce. You are using the old link which still works, so that's fine. I have used that before. But I feel that google has changed the link id's alike the huge number of characters. (So the old link still works), I just can't figure out how to rearrage the new "huge links" that I have never seen before. I have just no clue how to link images from Google to Dyxum right now. Regards, Fred. |

The link works fine, but if you want to show it directly on here click on the curved arrow in the lower right corner of the dark part of the Flickr page and copy the BB-code and paste it in the post like this: ![]() Nice picture, but a little small (400x400 pix). To show here you can go up to 1020 wide and 960 high. |

Now that you've found the right code from Flickr you don't need to use the Insert Image box when posting here and can paste directly in the Reply box, that's why we're seeing the bracketed IMG tags in the post.
