Aha, Lanzarote. Beautiful island! Certainly hope you have more of this island - and especially Timanfaya. Lovely shot of a landscape that almost looks like a landscape on the moon. For this reason many car manufacturers take photo's and movies here. TFS

Had to look quite some time at these shots. Even after looking this long time i have to conclude the foreground is too large in most. In the last shot is works - just. Think the grass or plant takes too much space and this hurts the composition. Maybe a wider, landscape (layout wise) shot would work better here. But that depends on the scene of course. TFS

Well done. For me one of the reasons to use A-mount is the image stabilisation so one can take images without a tripod. Great scene, lots to see but most important is that the sky is still blue and not black.

Just FYI, this is flattop mountain in the Chugach range just outside Anchorage. It's a shorter hike than the one in the rockies, but we went early season so the snow made for pretty treacherous going.

Great view; you had challenging light, it looks quite harsh.

Nice but there's a lot of magenta in the sky, particularly clouds at upper right.

Not sure how it looked uncorrected, but it still looks colored imo. Especially the white clouds contain red, it is also visible on the ground. The shot itself has good potential btw. TFS Dmitry

The shadows/dark area's in the foreground are a tad dark but what a view

Thanks Michele, I see what you mean and gone back to adjust it. Yes it is quite a view. The drive over Wilmot Pass is something else too. Too bad we only had the two days to cruise Doubtful Sound. we got a special for local residents but it was early winter and the days were short so I guess the 1/2 price was about right. Any way here is the revised pic and one from the day after on the return trip.

Personally I preferred it with the dark shadows. It looks more realistic to me that way and the new one looks almost HDR. Of course you can't please everyone (so you gotta please yourself, to quote Ricky Nelson).
