https://vimeo.com/248249215 - Winter's Watch is a 14-minute documentary film that shows the way photographer/artist Alexandra de Steiguer spends the wintertime - as an off-season caretaker of a hotel on an island off the Maine coast.
It's a lesson in solitude and contemplation - captured in amazing images by the director Brian Bolster, but also by the photographs Steiguer has taken.

It is a great pleasure to see a mentally mature person and a beautiful photographer.
Brian Bolster has captured the essence of her story beautifully as well.
Thank you for sharing the link Howard!

Thanks for sharing this link Howard, very worthwhile watching. I found the story and background of Alexandra very interesting, her photo's are of a classic beauty and the filming has a photographic quality as well. Items in the frame move but the frames are static giving a very quiet and attractive atmosphere while watching it. No zooming or panning, it really fits the story well.

It was calming and thought-provoking to see somebody being alone for such a period and producing nice photos along the way
It was all well filmed with the long shots.
Thanks for the link
