La Graciosa, separated by the Strait of El Rio, is located 2km from the Northern tip of the island of Lanzarote. Since 2018 it is officially recognized as the 8th Canary Island. At the time of starting this thread it has about 700 inhabitants. Tourism is an expanding business on the island, though - particularly in the larger of the island's two settlements, Caleta del Sebo.
