The idea is to post pictures of stuff that begins with the letter in the title, in the style of a Children's alphabet book... extra kudos for anything obscure, surreal or funny...

This week’s letter is is 'E' (but don’t forget to keep posting in A, B, C and D too!)

To start off:
E is for Evening

E is for Elegant

Don't like this letter much -- can't find a single file that starts with an E!

This also might just qualify as

E is for Elevated

Good shot of a public edifice, albeit one that is a little easier to get close to and still photograph.

@ brettania, yes, this one is relatively easy to get close to, allthough after taking the shot a kind policewoman told me I wasn't allowed to stand on the little elevation I used to get a little better perspective. Also needed to clone out two feet in the background but for the rest hardly any PP.

E is for Eggs
On a rose leaf - I think they are sawfly eggs. You can just make out the larvae inside.

E is for English text, surprisingly on a gravestone in Enschede, the Netherlands:

Dynax7d, Tamron 28-200mm at 50mm, f/8, 1/30s, ISO200

and it has been standing there for more than a century!
