Nice topic and first entries svjetlana. I like the self portrait very much, http://www.dyxum.com/dforum/self-portrait-thursday_topic40735_page17.html - do you know this thread , they will welcome you with open arms there with a shot like this.

The polarized/stretched perspex shots are nice as well. I like the first composition best, probably because it's the least symmetrical with a strong diagonal.

The last one is also well spotted, if it's a recent shot you could enter it in the diagonal DPC.

I'll think of some shots to post here in the future, but this is a very good start, and hope to see others joining as well.

Thank you so much pegelli for you comments. I am glad you like them.
I will post the first one in the thread you provided. The last one is good for the DPC but I've already entered two shots there.

Very worthwhile additions again.

AnneM, I especially like the lines and texture in the glass roof of Brussels and the symmetry in La Defense.

Xan, what Anne said, put these in one frame vertically or horizontally with a nice passe-partout and they would not be out of place in an art gallery. Vey nice.

HUU, I see your circles/triangles/rectangles. Agree it's a good fit for the thread

Napo, nice pics, I like the first best due to it's repeating pattern. The second is a bit "busy" and harder to follow.

Inspired by Anne's B&W conversions I took a Feb pic-a-day week 1 outtake and converted it as well. Also very "geometric" I think:

KM5D + kitlens, converted in lightroom.

@Napo, I like the first one most. Have to agree with Pieter, the second is to busy or even restless...

@Pieter, I love this kind of architecture-pics. I don't know how the original look like but the conversion is weldone, nice (not to hard) toning.

wross, nice effort to bring out the surface texture. Adds a real nice dimension next to the hole pattern.

eightballrj, at this posting size the grain is hardly visible, but the overall tonality looks very nice. You can easily post up to ~900 pix on the long side. I like most of the geometry in your picture, only the very light beam going in a complete different direction doesn't help the "flow" of the picture, but not a lot you can do about that I think.

Here's another one of mine, also nature can bring about very nice geometric shapes

I reposted with an edit to eliminate the beam and went to the Large size. Does it work better now?

I really like your "aligned", great composition and great processing.

Today I visited the Nelson Mandela bridge in Zoetermeer (Netherlands) which according to Snegren was at one time voted the "ugliest bridge of the Netherlands". I don't know about that (I haven't seen all bridges in the Netherlands) but for sure it's not the prettiest

I took this shot with "the perfect square" in mind, but I think it fits better here:
