* http://www.dyxum.com/dforum/forum_posts.asp?TID=54255&title=post-your-random-shots-viii - Post your random shots VIII .

Just to recap what this thread is about: there are only a three simple rules that must be fulfilled to post a photo in here:

* The photo you post must be selected from your gallery in a random way (or pseudo-random - if there are some computing purists around ). Use your calculator, or computer to generate some pseudo-random number. Or use dice, or results of your national lottery, or whatever ...

* The first shot selected must be posted, i.e. no cheating is allowed because e.g. "that first photos was so awful",

* No more than one photo per day is allowed.

Of course all are encouraged to comment others work and discuss various aspects of posted photos.

Great fun today too...

Got one special one today, kind of scary and so, so I will post the original and a middle one as well.

Dead geisha doll...

Looks like this as original:

...and somewhere in the beginning/middle when playing around:

So, what is it?
Well was testing my new Raynox lenses and shot at a Star Wars DVD cover and the girl is Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia) and the size is about 10x15mm.

Don't you have nightmares now... :-)

Thanks mediman30, I took several shoots of that posing wagtail... I got so close I had to back of as the lens reached it's close focus limit, was quite funny.
Nice depth and bokeh in yours also.

Raimios, taht wa kind of diffrent, and quite nice, and a strange feeling in it. Sometimes it feels it's going down and sometimes up that is the right one... right? LOL

I like both, love how older houses look when art, fantasy and skill was the key factor and not money to the already rich... kind of... :-)

Highly overrated, and no time for all fun things to do, that are a tad complicated to do while sleeping.

Great captured pic, let me guess wildly, your doughter?
I've seen facial hair on young girls before but that looks a tad embarrassing...

That's less of the problem now when she is shaving regularly

p_man, unfortunately I do not remember - it was quite long time ago. But it was older than a day or two I think: if I recall correctly it was already seeing which would be a week old or so.

Great pegelli, what's the long name of PWpro?

@ RyanTheLion: That was really great, and the vignetting is just adding to it...
A young girl I know borrowed my a700 and the 11-18 among some other stuff, but now with my a850 I think I want that lens back... :-)

Hahah, Thanks Cekari. I was quite disappointed that i didn't have a UWA for the a850 as it automatically changes it to aps-c mode. But hey! now it works wonders :D Get that lens back!

It's http://dl-c.com/content/view/47/74/ - Picture Window Pro .

I still use an older version, but they're up to V5 now. A cheap alternative to Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro (but not as cheap as GIMP).

And truly random it is...

Set 2, Folder 52, Image 1 - a scan of something from years back - when I spilt chemicals on some photographic paper and partially exposed it... I kind of liked the look of the result and kept it.
