Nice work Wayne09, great shot and good treatment. Only the strange bright spot in the highest cloud on the left bothers me a bit. Maybe you can get rid of that

Not a pure silhouette, and technically more sidelit than backlit, but close enough. The thread needs a bounce!

Awesome shot, Brian. One of the best I've seen lately! I love everything about it, the curved ground, the two silhouetted figures taking to each other and the vast empty space around them.

Thanks, Chris, glad you like it! I had to wait a long time to get a decent subject there. Either I couldn't get a couple where all four legs were making the same stride at once, or two people would overlap each other (I had one with 2 people and one person "walking" their bike but they wouldn't separate from each other, totally bummed cuz the bike looked neat), or there would be more than one group in the frame... then these two came along.

I did tweak the background color a bit. The sun is left of frame and I had to do EV -3 for f10, 1/8000sec to get the subjects entirely black and the resulting color wasn't terribly interesting (it got better later in the day but I was no longer there), so I squeezed the sliders just a touch in the histogram in PSE to make the color a little better, without trying to make it look too artificial.

svjetlana, very nice captures above. I looked at the first one and thought "Nice shot. Wonder who did it" and it was you. :)
The second one is very well processed. Initially I thought you just did some cross processing but it looks a little more intricate than that.
Can you share the PP details if you don't mind?

Thank you very much.
Not very intricate at all. In Camera Raw I moved sliders until I liked the results. I've adjusted temperature, blacks, contrast, clarity, vibrance and saturation. Sunsets and sunrises manifest great colors of light which is made of and more visible in those times of day. When playing with it in pp you can achieve different results and saturate these colors to your liking. I hope it helps
