I was in Munich back in 2009, these are few from the BMW HQ 1: Restaurant inside BMW Welt looking onto Olympic Park.  2: BMW Welt at night  3: Inside BMW World left hand side  4: Inside BMW World right hand side  5: Similar one to Michael's  6: Inside the museum showing the concept vehicles  Cities of the world, cool idea, I will find a couple photos of other parts of the city and post them here also. ------------- --- 7, 9, 7D, A100, A700, A900. Nice shots Vitaly But I do have one minor correction to the naming of pic #4 - the one named "3 churhe St Peter" This is not St. Peter, but Frauenkirche. Recently, I visited my former hometown Munich on a business trip and had the chance to take some photos. 1. Side view of the Herz Jesu church. 2. Front view of the Herz Jesu church. A very modern building that stands out from its surroundings. Of course, I also had to visit the Eisbach surfers in the English Garden. 3. 4. 5. 6.The place is quite popular and there are always lots of spectators. Better be sure what you're doing before surfing there 7.Beach of the river Isar next to the German Museum of Technology. You can actually swim in the river. A concert at the Isarinsel festival. 8. 9. The islands in the inner city were beautifully lit for the festival. 10. 11. 12. The fountain of the Weißenburger Platz, in my opinion one of the most beautiful places in Munich. Brian, thanks a lot! This image of Munich, with the Marian column placed in between the spires of Munich Frauenkirche, for sure was photographed a lot already over the years by many. But presumably most with a stopped down lens to capture both landmarks somehow sharp due to the larger DOF. On March 27 the Allianz Arena here in Munich turned off its illumination for one hour to support the Earth Hour 2021. One hour.... that will make a BIG difference.  I cannot find how much this saved nor how much electricity the stadium normally uses. I found some press stating that they saved 60% going with Philips LED, but how much is that? They have a page with a lot of information, but not this...
