Ryan: you need faster shutter speed, increase the iso to 400 even 800 if you need to. You can eliminate noise (with a little loss in detail) in post processing, but you can't get rid of blur. Don't count on steady shot to save you when you are shooting pictures of kids unless they are sleeping.

thanks for the advice. Steady shot was not used on the photo, my old a230 had a malfunction with the steady-shot. as for post processing, i'm still learning so i haven't dabbled much into that (i don't even have photoshop )

The girl in the tram

NEX-5N + Cosina Voigtlander Nokton 50/1.5, F4, 1/100, +1.3EV, 800iso

I had the camera with me for Back to the 50s on my way to work.
It's not easy to do street photography in a tram so I'm pleased with this result.
50% crop so not fit for the challenge.

I had a fotoshoot in my studio with the kids of the neighbours. They are lovely kids and to break the ice i let them shoot some photos by themselves with my remote control.....and offcourse funny faces will show up than...:D

After that i had a great shoot with them.

Made by Tim:

Will: That is a great portrait shot. I like it a lot.

Edwin: What a great idea. I'll have to keep that in mind. Nice results.
