I like the low perspective Reflekt. It was certainly worth getting down "low and dirty" to achieve the reult. The background is magic. Mike - I like your low perspective as well. Looks like "low perspective" is catching on!

Guys, all the images on this page are excellent. I'm hanging out for clear skies... however, we do need the rain, so in the meantime I'll enjoy your works.

Good work on this page guys.

Stork is indeed nice pavel, you kept very good feather detail in the white and blacks. Pelicans are nice as well, the last one shows that older bodies with kit lenses can produce very good pictures when handled by skilled and experienced shooters.

No need to be bashful pat, I wish some of mine were as nice.

Llew, especially like your one-legged owl. I think these pics deserve to be posted bigger!

Yesterday we went to the Belgian coast where I for the first time tried my new Sony 1.4x paired with the 200/2.8 HS. Most BIF's were not good (operator error, nothing to do with my gear) but some others came out quite nice (I think). C&C welcome, as I have a lot to learn in this field.

The only BIF that came out OK (a bit of a crop):

On the look-out:

100% crop, no processing/sharpening of this shot:

Pretty happy with the combo so far, much better IQ than with the 2x. Need tons more practice though
You can see the April Foolishness 2022 exhibition here Another great show of the talent we have on Dyxum

@Pavel: You do well with whatever equipment is in your hands. A100+75300kit for pelican and A900+600/4+1.4xTC for cormorant. I particularly like the composition and detail in your first cormorant shot.

@alphafreak: Great job with the egret! I noted some well-deserved complements from your Flickr post. Welcome to Dyxum and the Bird thread.

@everyone: very nice shots! Keep'm comin'!

Cheers... Brian
