Critique most welcome

Here's a Robin that posed for me this afternoon.
Taken with Sony A900 and Sigma 500/4.5 APO EX DG.

A larger version can be seen here.

dennis that 500 sigma is serving you well, another lovely image to your credit... sigma always seems to get smoother bokeh, how is the af traking on the 500 and the a900? i'm still using my 7d with 70-400g and i use the center point to find focus and switch to multy point auto focus to track an object its great for panning and uncluttered background but is'nt great if the object is moving towards you or away from you, how do you play with your setup?

Thanks aditya,

I think this setup tracks pretty well, of course I get many misses along with the hits. When tracking BIFs I use multi point and it seems to work well. The fact that the points are clustered in the center works in my favor for this purpose. Happy shooting!

We're starting to get a few songbirds heading back north. Spring is here! (even if it was down in the 30's this AM).

Prothonotary warbler

Black-and-white warbler

Ladder-backed woodpecker

Yellow-throated warbler
