Check this (CNN video) out, I wouldn't consider a Canon 24-105/f4 a fast lens but this one reached terminal velocity

But on a more somber note, the following video after that one is the footage from the Reno Air Race tragedy yesterday. Initial reports last night were claiming mass casualties but this morning the report is 2 dead and 52 injured.

That's mass casualties to me - a casualty is a serious or fatal accident. CBS is reporting 3 dead, 15 in critical condition, 13 in serious condition, and 28 with non-life threatening injuries. A huge toll.
