Part I is here

Today, the bald eagle resident in my neighbourhood returned.

It landed on the flax bales and I thought.......here we go again.



Not to be this time. He was more interested in twigs.

Found it!!



On an old root half sticking out




Did his best to pull it out


Frustrated


More manageable!!


Success

I love these impressive birds! Great series Charles.
I am not familiar with the 200-600, but was a bit surprised about the slightly harsh bokeh in some of the pics. Too bad #2 seems just a bit OOF.
The last three are my favourites. The arrogant look in 'frustrated' is great!

Yes the bokeh is not smooth. I miss my old Minolta 600G for that. Thanks for your comments.
