I'm sorry, wasn't aware that the offers section of this forum is only visible to members.
I changed the link in my original post to another forum now, do you want to try again? I checked this forum's rules for posting ads and couldn't find any condition that would exclude non-members. Hopefully I didn't overlook anything... Edited by wus - 24 April 2015 at 21:17 |

I can see your ad. I think you should try to find the eyepiece cup. Maybe that of the alpha 900 is suitable?

I don't have an Alpha 900. And I already tried all sorts of eyepiece cups that I have here (3 different models, all Minolta and Sony). They all can be mounted, but they are all very obviously the wrong ones. The Dynax 9 is the only camera that I have which has an eyepiece shutter, and this lever is the problem.
I will try to find out if an Alpha 900 eyepiece fits, but this may take while. Edited by wus - 24 April 2015 at 22:34 |

I looked up photos of the Alpha 900 eyepiece cup on the internet now. It looks different from the Dynax / Maxxum 9's. It may still fit. However as it looks on the pictures that I saw, it goes down a little further on the A900, and that means it could get in the way of the back cover on the D9. I'm not sure about this though.
I will be on a user meeting May 5, hopefully I can have a look and try if the A900's cup fits on the 9. |

The A900 eyepiece cup WILL fit the D9 BUT the D9 cup WILL NOT fit the A900 due to interference of the lever for the A900 eyepiece shutter. The A900 eyepiece WILL interfere with the back cover on the D9, BUT this is no problem as it take a second to shift it up with you thumb. I have both of these cameras. Hope this helps. BobH The A99 Cup will also fit BUT it doesn't quite go all the way down (3mm gap at the top) and doesn't interfere with the D9 back cover. The Minolta 9000 eye piece also fits but it's a little on the short side. Edited by Mustafa Bier - 26 April 2015 at 08:00 |

I added a couple photos to the link above, if you want to have a look...
Just to be clear: the lens that can be partly seen on some of the photos is not part of the offer. |

I sold my 9 with SSM upgrade and grip 4 years ago to help fund an A850. Only a few days ago I emailed the guy I sold it to letting him know I'd be interested in buying it back if he ever wanted to let it go.
I hope you get a really good price or decide to hang on to it. |

In fact I don't really like to sell it, but I need the money
![]() I don't really use the 9 anymore, so it's not too hard to part. |

Until now I did not find anybody who wants to buy the complete system of camera, VC-9 and DM-9, but I did get a really good offer for the DM-9 so I will now take the system apart to sell the DM-9.
Somebody already offered me 150 Euro for the VC-9, plus I got several offers for the body alone or body + battery grip so that I think I can get around 400 Euro for both. If you are interested please make up your mind and send me an offer soon, either for the body with the VC-9 or only body or battery grip. |
