Yeah, I don't know what that circle is. There were several weird artifacts that showed up on the scans. I haven't had the time to inspect the negatives yet. Hope it's just something to do with the scans and not on the negatives now, because I rather like photo 2 (also) and may frame a print of it...

She's too strong for duct tape! Glad you like the film look.

I heard that superglue and duct tape really improve focusing on small children

Lovely film atmosphere on your shots

Some forays into film:

What I love about a film camera is setting exposure first (I put my hand out to where the person's face will be then set exposure manually on it) but what's difficult is the manual focus of my x-700. A 2 and a half year old moves CONSTANTLY. I shot several like this and only this one had more or less perfect focus. I wished she would have been looking a bit straighter ahead but it's OK. But I adore the look of the ilford 125. Here is 85mm at f2.

I manually exposed this shot but didn't get it right as it's a little underexposed. But I love the look of a shot like this. Makes me want to ask: did Chanel make glasses 40 years ago?

x-700 and 85/2 at f4

Good shot - too bad about the green behind the painting.

@ MichelvA, thank you, while I am getting comfortable in the studio, this outdoor adventure made me more than nervous, but I am happy with the results.

For some Sunday humor, unedited low resolution below, the typical reaction I get when physically showing models how I want them to pose

Less glamorous than i'm used to see from you. But very natural, great smooth lighting. Good job.
