Already in plan B as well - heavy rainfall.

Great job everyone!

I don't have the weather excuse (it is nice and sunny here, as usual...), but I don't manage to get shots with my 50mm lenses. You know, the regular excuses - family and work...

@Hezu - congrats for your new toy! Waiting to see your results out of it! I noticed that you also use a7RII, so my advise is that you make sure you use the latest firmware - Version 4.01.

Thanks, I'll post some of my first FE200-600G shots later. And so far I have only used it with α7R III since that has a nod better AF and more importantly better controls than α7R II. Seriously considering updating the latter into newer models...
And I tend to keep firmwares up to date on all my cameras.

Dopol, the English name for that bird in your today's outtake is rose-ringed parakeet or alternatively ring-necked parakeet.

Today we had excellent weather, probably the only day this week

But we had a blocked sewer pipe from our septic tank to the street sewer, so I was literally in the $h.t today with no opportunity to go out shooting

So it will be another inside despiration shot from me today.
Mind the bandwidth of others, don't link pictures larger then 1024 wide or 960 pix high, see here

Looks like the weather forecast there is then quite similar to the forecast for Helsinki...

Why didn't you take some pictures of the incident? Or was it not photogenic...

Micholand, was it that filter you used in day 2 picture that created those wonderful colours in the sky?

I have no idea what caused these wierd effects on the small LED's. I assumed the black matte background of the paper wouldn't give any effects - but when we see what comes out - i'm a bit surprised. Is that caused by the mirror?

Anyway the nobel prize has been posted. That's what matters most.

Well, my thick rubber gloves made handling a camera quite difficult and the scenes were crap (literally). The only advantage would be that posting images on Dyxum doesn't transfer the smell
