This thread is for posting your photos for Day 1 (December 9).


Rules:

- no talk please, we have the Talk Thread for this purpose,
- each member participating in Week 50 is allowed to post exactly one photo here
- shots must be taken on December 9 and must not be posted here earlier than Monday December 9. It's Pic-A-Day!
- a title, exif info, purpose and story of the shot, and (a short indication of) your challenge are all good extra info to provide and help others to comment
- if participants would like to show more photos: we have the Outtakes thread for this purpose
- please remember to start and update your mini-gallery in the Thumbnails thread thread

Poems for Earthlings


Amsterdam Oude kerk is changed into WWI trenches, with bags of sand and wooden walls. Lit only by candlelight.
It's an installation by Adrián Villar Rojas (Argentina)
And of course lots of mixed reactions surrounding the event.
The light sources leave it dark, but not for cameras that can see in the dark.
