love the intro...
Thanks for that link Ine, I love baroque music but didn't know this one yet. The intro with the forceful double bases is indeed spectacular but the entire piece is nice and well played.

TY Pieter and welcome... LOVE it after 37 sec., when the whatsitcalled hits in, but not half as powerful as it is on our CD.
the thing with classical music is to find a decent or even 'perfect' version? (usually mostly no-No's ).
(after spending ....... trying to figure out what the exact name of the 'song' is).

we LOVE baroque music, husband & I (a.o.!).
Tur was in a band long ago, but also played the violin in a classical orchestra. (I grew up with Bach, a.o.).
(can't stand pop music played at a reduced volume, so that's for the car or headphones, played very loud).

also our rabbits LOVED baroque music! (seriously). mostly Vivaldi, Johann S. and Handel.
(although our buck Junior was afraid of harps. don't think we have any classical music with harps in it, but once bought them a CD with bird sounds, hoping they'd enjoy it. they did, until the harp, Junior glued to the ceiling before we knew it).
they didn't like Beethoven, but I'm not too fond of him either, except for a couple of famous brilliant! masterpieces.

speaking of... (the 9th! Ode to Joy aka All men shall be brothers)
was watching the old video -I posted a link to yesterday- again this morning.
literally gives me goosebumps every time, when all have opened their mouths).
do think it's a must-see?
noticed they made a desperate? corona version as well).

There are some really interesting metal rock versions of Vivaldi's music.

Music played:

Jethro Tull - Aqualung
Fleetwood Mac - Rumours
Miss Li - Best of
Billie Eilish – When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?
Police - Ghost in the machine

And now just listening to music after moving speakers around down to 1cm increments
