Carl Zeiss Planar T* 85 F1.4 field report - part 2/5

I've took the same picture using CZ85 and my own Minolta 85/1.4 and also 50/1.7 to compare the sharpness of these 3 lenses. The area pointed by red arrow is the area which will be shown in full size in the next few pictures. BTW, all pictures here were taken by Alpha 100 with ISO 100 and JPEG Fine.

From above comparison, judged by eye only, CZ85 is slightly sharper than Minolta version at all apature. However, the different is neglectable. One thing to notice is that, 50/1.7 do has sharpness comparable to the 2 big brothers.
