I've just ordered my postcards. They reserve 2 weeks to produce them, but usually it is much quicker. So, hopefully I'll have postcards ready to be sent by the end of the next week.

BTW, I have a few spare cards - anybody willing to get one please PM me :)

I've also ordered the photo's that will go on the postcards. I tried having them printed on postcards straight away, but only found shops that do series of 10 minimum here in the Benelux. So I just ordered the photo's and will do some DIY to turn them into postcards.

They're all shots from this years' summer vacation, one at the Belgian coast and the others from several different places in France.

Pieter, I also had to order postcards in series of 10 (I mean: each one can be different), but this is why each year I have a few spares to send :)

BTW, all my postcards will also be covered with photos from this year's vacations - either winter or summer :) There will be quite a variety of places :)

Hmm, I am bit puzzled since now so often "summer vacations" are mentioned: Isn't one of the expectations here that you send around images from your home - town, city, region etc.?

This is not a strict rule, but try and keep it close to home. Not that we don't want to see your vacation photos, but the point of the exchange is to make unique postcards from your locale.
I didn't pay enough attention to that. Might select 5 more from my area and see if I should send those instead.

First - this is a suggestion not a strict rule Second - sending photos from my home City and/or village or a nearby town for the third time would be boring. But no worries - all my vacation shots are from Poland and showing some interesting places, so in this sense I'm still showing my home

My photos are printed and I will be sending them later this week.

Like last year, I used an HP Envy 5530. It does a good job, not great. I prefer my old Epson Artisan 810 for photos ...

I have a few extra prints too, and it's really easy to print more! PM me if you're interested.

I would like to apologize to everyone... I haven't even finished selecting images to print yet, let alone printed them.

I suspect the earliest I'll be shipping would be the end of next week.
