I received MiPr's "leftover" card from the 2017 DPE today. The postmark shows Dec 3rd, so almost a month to get here. This is the 4th card I have received (out of 6 I expect).

Mirek's shot is fantastic. It is of a rainbow off in the distance, accompanied by the rain showers and clouds. Really beautiful light. I'm surprised you didn't send this one first last year!!

All in all, the card is in great shape. There is a bend in one corner, plus a smudge, along with the usual barcodes.

I am also catching up on posting and scanning.

I was away for work before Christmas and found two cards in the box on my return.

Firstly from KoBra64, unfortunately a little damage on the front of the card.

Thanks for the card.

The second from ifreedman, the boarder give the postal systems a place to put their bar code. In pretty good condition, just a crease at the top.

Thanks Ian.

Then at Christmas did the family catch up and returned to find two more cards.

This on from waldo_posth. The card is in very good condition, just the bar code printed along the bottom, but no overly visible when scanned.

The fourth card is from Howard_S. Card in excellent.

Thanks Howard.

Great to see another one of my cards arrive. It's amazing to me that postage gets from the US to Australia more quickly than from the US to Israel.

Thank you very much thamarie, I received your post card just now.

It is a moody black and white image in 2:1 format taken at Drawieński Park Narodowy, Poland. I like it very much. It arrived in good condition with some bending at one end and a reddish smudge in the middle (from the sorting machine?). I also like the very unique stamp that was used. Unfortunately my scanner does not do it justice.

I received thamarie's card today. Like her dad's card, the postmark shows Dec 3rd, but this one took more than a month to arrive. This is the 5th card I have received (out of 6 I expect).

The card arrived in great shape, with just a little smudge on the blue sky, and of course the very faint barcodes.

The right hand image of this collage is from a contemporary art gallery in Prague. The shoes on the left? Are they from the streets of Prague or from the gallery? Marta, please let me know. The shoes on the wire picture could be from here in Los Angeles!

Thanks, Marta!

Thank you Lee for reporting the arrival of my card! Now 2 out of 9 were reported to arrive...

It is funny how random the shipping time is... My wife was in Boston a month ago and sent 3 postcards to our home address (one for each kid). 3 cards which were sent together from the same place to the same final destination. One arrived within 5 days, second arrived 3 weeks later and the third just arrived now, one month after shipment.

We had our mail held while away for a week's holiday and waiting for me today was a postcard mailed from the depths of the Red Sea! Thank you so much Shay. The card was in perfect condition and shows an anemone growing wild in Israel. The postmark explains it was sent from Coral World Eilat in Israel (wikipedia link). A very unique postcard to receive and well worth the wait.

And, while I am here, I can report that yesterday I received another card! A photo of Springfield Falls in Pennsylvania from Matt (alpha_in_exile). A beautiful photo of a beautiful place! Thank you!

Besides a minor scratch in the middle, the postcard is in good condition.

Nice to see more cards landing! I'm waiting for one more to arrive. I think I'm at 5 out of 6 that I expect to receive.
