First card has arrived, from @bonneville
A great image from a social day at his golf club. Pretty good condition too - a few bits of Australia Post grime and frayed corners add to the charm.
Thanks Brian!!

First card arrived Thursday from Fred_S, scene as scanned and posted above by bonneville. In perfect condition; even the barcoding was essentially invisible, hidden in the tree trunk at right.

Also just received my spare card from Brian (bonneville) this morning. It is exactly the same as posted by gregja before, but with much more signs of handling and travel, despite a much shorter distance.

Thanks for sending Brian, I think you managed well to capture the intended combo of the Spitfire and an element of the club!
This brings my score on 5 out of 9 to be received.

I've received 2 cards:

1) Pegelli's photo of a local mansion, still privately owned and immaculately maintained. I enjoyed this as a fan of architecture, good morning lighting, and good photography. Came through the mail almost pristine. Thank you, Pieter!

2) Nandbytes' image of a beautiful sunrise (oops, sunset! :) ) over a beautiful field of lavender. My wife was quite taken with this one - she's a great fan of lavender. A few 'rub marks' on the card, but this just proves that it traveled. Thank you, Anand!

2 more left to reach.
Little saddened by the damage on all my cards so far. I shall try to improve upon this for next year.

Damage is part of the charm when we receive our postcards, the wear and tear from automation and humans! It reminds us of the analog nature of our world. We can be so focused on cyberspace nowadays.

From everyones posted scans thus far, the postal services seem to be getting better over the years. I recall receiving a card taped up by one of the postal services ... I think I have it somewhere ... I'll post a pic if I find it.

5 of the 6 cards that I have sent have landed. I have received one so far.

Keep up the great work, folks!

And a pair of cards arrived in today's mail despite that one of these had slight misspelling in street address in form of missing one n and street number appearing twice.

The aplmike's card had few scratches on the picture side:

...while Maccroft's card was in pristine condition:

The other sides seemed to be in decent condition too (the smudged address is my anonymization, so do not blame postal services for that):

Thanks for posting, Hezu. I don't think any of the US stamps have been canceled by the USPS.

The stamp on my card from Art (ADub128) was clearly cancelled

Thanks for the reminder, Fred ... I didn't notice the cancellation mark when you posted earlier in this thread. Bonneville received two USA cards with uncanceled stamps.

My card shows a Santa Clarita postmark. Santa Clarita is over 40 miles from here on the other side of LA International Airport. I'd love to know the actual path of my postcard now. I wonder if my card flew out of LAX or some other airport?
