@nandbytes ... sure thing! I'll PM you my details.

I just took a look at the Sony FE-mount lineup. I didn't even know a 200-600 was available.

I shoot E-mount most of the time since I like the smaller form factor, but I do grab my big A-mount (digital and film) and ancient SR-mount film gear from time to time. Maybe I'll go to FE-mount one of these days ... a reason to buy more lenses, right?! But film is my current "full frame" go to

I have a love-hate relationship with FE gear. If I get started we'd be here all day and severely off-topic.

Thanks for the PM, I'll post it at some point in the week. But need to choose the picture to print first

You're welcome!

I didn't notice the stamp - trying to get in and out of the post office as fast as possible - but it's very appropriate. Unfortunately all the ones to other countries get the same one..

Here's the original:

I ordered prints, and they are taking their sweet time in arriving - then I have to apply the backs... my cards will be 'fashionably late', I fear.

On the other hand, I'm thinking about sending out a couple of prints I have now, so, like MiPr, I may end up with some extras (I'll let you know once I've got the new prints).

Another card prepared to be sent - the last spare card waiting for happy addressee :)

BTW, two spares "ordered" yesterday were placed in the mailbox today's morning.

Oh, stupid me, I forgot to mention that I've got 3 cards today - all together: from Bonneville, Hezu, and Fred_S. Thanks! I'll scan them and post tomorrow (if time permits).

The three postcards I've got yesterday are (in alphabetical order):

Oakham Castle Horseshoes(*) by bonneville

The card arrived in almost perfect condition - only one mark in the middle - probably from some sorting machine.

(*) More about this here - it is a very nice story :)

Fred_S sent me the photo of this stunning flower from his backyard:

Great photo and the card appeared in my mailbox in a great shape - only a few very minor bends on edges.

Last but not least: frozen reeds arrived in my mailbox right from Helsinki - sent by Hezu:

Lovely shot - nice detail and great lighting. Oh, and the postcard appeared in perfect condition.

Thank you all very much - I enjoyed them very much. That's pity I've got almost all of my cards already

Thanks Mirek.
That leaves only one of my cards to be confirmed

Yeh! Another postcard safely delivered today. From MiPr himself (I always try to secure one of MiPr's spares if I'm not due to receive one from him).

Very clever that it should be of my namesake

Not a mark on it, although being quite long it was a bit bent from being stuffed in the post's sack I guess

Many thanks Mirek. Great tonal range and an interesting finish. B&W film?

Edit: The actual image is far superior to this scanned version and the wavy lines all over it are not present in the actual postcard.

In the meantime 4 cards have arrived, so I started scanning

First was the well known flower from Fred_S, arrived virtually unscathed

(The dust is much more apparent in the scan than just looking at it, sorry for that )

Second card was from nandbytes, a sunset in his own street. One major scuff right in the beautiful sky but for the rest in good shape

The third card was from MartyMoose, a historic temple in downtown Walla Walla, Washington. Some minor skuffs from the sorting machine but overall also in good shape

And the fourth so far came from gregja, a view from the Northcote Pass near mount Koscinszko. Here the sorting machine unfortunately created some fake snowfields and waterfalls in the stunning mountainscape

Two more to come but I've been treated very well until now, thanks Fred, Anand, Steve and Greg
Mind the bandwidth of others, don't link pictures larger then 1024 wide or 960 pix high, see here

I have received over 60 DPE cards over the years. Excellent images, folks!

5 of 6 of my cards have arrived at their destinations. PM me if you'd like me to send you one.

Received Mirek's postcard today. A wonderful picture of Ostrów Tumski in IR. My missus greatly enjoyed it.
Thank you

So 4 received so far and 4 of mine have reached. I like the symmetry

Four received now

1, from Fred_S. His local Netherlandish lane, in full-on autumn color. In perfect condition. Very nice Dyxum stamp of an autumn leaf.

2, arrived Tuesday from Maccroft. His local castle. Again, perfect condition.

3, arrived Wednesdeay, from bonneville. Nice shot across water to an ex-church. Some damage, a band of scuffs, well placed to avoid the main subject.

4, arrived Thursday, from Howard_S. Three photos in one shot. Undamaged on the picture side, one edge a bit roughed on address side. The stamp reproduces I think a (very English) painting of the original Dreadnought.
