I like 1.3. Lovely picture. If I were to start using my Olympus OM1 again I might not want to go back to digital! I loved it so much I won't part with it. |

Thanks, Ian! I share your love for the OM-1 ... I have my father's old camera, and I really ought to break it out for later in this challenge.

The Kodak Gold seems to have held up quite nicely - how much dis the processor charge?
is 1.11 actually a ruin? Because of the flatness of the top, I wondered if it was a bench-mark - that symbol is normally on a plate on an existing stone, but I wondered if they used such a structure if there was nothing else suitable. |

Snappy Snaps in Oxford charge £10.95 for dev and scan (no prints), and in about 30-35 mins I received an email with a WeTransfer link to download the 6MP scans. I think it's a great service, but the price does seem high. However if you compare with an online service like PhotoHippo in Burnley (who do great work), they charge £6.25 for dev and scan, to which you have to add £3.58 for 1st class mail (because 35mm film cartridges in an envelope fall into the parcel category ![]() My only gripe is that Snappy Snaps do not display a pricelist and I think B&W and medium formats take longer (in Oxford) because they send them out for processing. I agree the ruin looks like a Benchmark, but this was in the grounds of the ruins of Launceston Priory, and there's a picture of the wider site here. With a church nearby and an area that's susceptible to flooding I suspect any benchmark might be elsewhere. |

Very good photos so far!
Let me introduce 12 of mine. The film is ADOX CMS 20 II PRO. Photos developed in the lab (Luster in New York). I scanned with the Plustek 7600i myself. The camera is a Minolta a-7. The photos seem to be slightly underexposed. I have another roll of this film and will try to use an external light meter. Maybe ISO 12 is too much of a challenge for the camera. 1.1 Jersey City Square with the Katyn Memorial. ![]() Minolta a-7, Sony 50/1.4 F3.2 1/160s 1.2 New apartment buildings in Jersey City, actually in the Newport district. ![]() Minolta a-7, Sony 24/2.0 F5.6 1/125s 1.3 Ellipse ![]() Minolt a-7, Sony 24/2.0 F5.6 1/100s 1.4 Waterfront ![]() Minolta a-7, Sony 24/2.0 F5.6 1/800s |

Yes, in Plustek I use a resolution 3600. The larger, 7200 resolution gives nothing except much larger files and longer work.

I'll be interested to see how photos taken with a 24MP camera compare with 3600dpi scans ... if my arithmetic is right you end up with 5400x3600 px scans compared to close to 6000x4000 with 1:1 macro on an A7 III.
