I'm still bit struggling to find suitable subjects for this week's focal length: I even tried wildlife (squirrel) and sports (Helsinki Cup football tournament) photography, but 24 mm seems to be little short for those subjects (maybe I'll post some shots to the outtakes). Eventually I did encounter a glimpse of sunshine combined with dark clouds, which made decent scenery, although of course, I would have preferred if there had been also a rainbow, but you can't always get everything you want.

We cycled to Penmon again after hearing that the Trwyn Du Lighthouse bell would be silenced on Friday after tolling every 30 seconds for the past 97 years. A foghorn will be fitted, to be used only when necessary, which isn't contentious but it could have operated alongside the bell. Another piece of local history is needlessly lost. It's a surprisingly hard ride, only 68km there and back but 1100m of ascent.
