The lens cabinet with the shiny lenses is a grateful subject when desperation sets in. Today was busy with visits to the doctor, hospital and pharmacy for a nasty eye infection. Pills, eye drops, eye cream, blurry vision and headaches.

The lens is a fixed focus C-mount lens for 16 mm film. On 16 mm film the DOF on a 17 mm lens is such that focusing helicoid is not necessary. As the c-mount has a long thread, focus is possible on the big frame of the A7Riv. As can be seen it makes a circle (slightly larger than the height of the APSC frame).

The brightwork

Camera Model: ILCE-7RM4
Lens: Meyer Görlitz Trioplan 1:2,8 f=17mm (1940, C-mount)
Aperture: f/2.8
Exposure Time: 0.008 sec (1/125)
ISO: 1600
