Fred, nice to see my card made it ... roughly a week and a half to get there, 5600+ miles. Hardly any damage!

2 of 6 cards have confirmed landed now. I have more. DM me and I can send you one if you weren't on my original list.

I'll post my "originals" once all/most of my cards have landed.

I counted all cards to send: 5 from the "obligatory" pack and 4 of spare cards. This means that I have one more spare to send. Anybody?

I also have 3 spares from the last year, which have never been sent ;)

Received one from KoBra64 - beautiful overlook of a park in the city, in pretty good shape. It might take me a couple days to get it posted here. I seem to have no time on the weekdays - but by the weekend I should be ready to post it.

My cards have arrived from CEWE - they have done a nice job.

Now all I need to do is work out which to send to whom, write the messages, address them, work out the postage, get the stamps and post them.

And scan and post the card from Hezu that arrived this morning.

And I've just remembered how I hate writing postcards ...

The easiest task done.

Hezu has used Posti, which I guess is the Finnish equivalent of Moonpig here in the UK.

A second slice of military history:

The postcard service is probably similar to Moonpig, but Posti as whole would be a comparable entity to Royal Mail in UK as it is the state-owned postal service company.

Nice to see more cards landing. @Phil, you may want to block out your mailing address. FYI.

I stand corrected - though the Royal Mail is not state-owned. It was privatised in 2012 - following EU/Directive/20086/EC.

One of my spare cards is quite 'dark'; it will spook the children. Who wants it?
