I got all giddy yesterday when I opened the door of my PO Box and saw this card: I thought I'd won a beer tasting lottery.
But no, I was just dreaming and the 'Free Beer' certificate was my card from Brian in the USA.
Strangely, even though it reached me, it was marked 'RTS' (Return To Sender) and 'Not Known'.
Looking at my address; it's perfect and the mistake was just that, a mistake by the postal service. Luckily they didn't send the card back but allowed it through!

thanks Brian

Here are the most recent cards I have received, and a collage of ones I have received from MiPr over the years (that includes one from his daughter when she participated in DPE). Sorry for the delay in posting. Life gets in the way sometimes.

Howard_S: Door Pull Self-Portrait -- received ~10/25/21
If you look closely you can see Howard in the shot! I love the colors here.

idleidolidyl: Limestone Downs shot on film using a pinhole camera!
Surprising amount of detail in this pinhole shot. The sepia look on matte paper is a nice choice.

MiPr: Bridge of Peace in Wroclaw and a collection of cards from MiPr from over the years!
I'm still trying to unwind the diptych in my head ... it's the same end of the bridge but taken from both sides. I will take a look at Google Maps shortly, LOL.

MiPr, thank you (and your daughter) for all of the cards over the years. I can't recall if you sent any regular sized ones. I was too lazy to check all the others.

I'm waiting for one more to arrive here (Fred's), and confirmation on the other end for one more (nandbytes). Not bad!

I'll post my originals in the next few days.

They were sent without visum.

I had to Google "visum" ... maybe these cards to the US from the Netherlands are stuck in customs! I will be checking my PO box again later today and will keep you posted (so to speak, LOL).

My five out have landed, with three in and still expecting two.

Sorry to hear your disappointment Idleidolidyll. I've enjoyed much of your contributions. You have an engaging style in imagery, photographic and prose. Thanks for sharing.

I finally managed to post 5 of my postcards earlier in the week.
I am normally one of the first ones to get my cards out but this autumn has been bit of a weird one.
Sincere apologies for the delay. On the bright side all the postcards will have a limited edition Christmas stamps

Also this year I have tried something new.... I have posted picture based on a single theme but with different style papers (1 gloss, 2 semi-gloss and 2 matte finish). Will be interesting to see how each hold up in transit.

I have received all 5 of my cards and thank you to everyone for making this happen. I am also grateful for the cards which have mostly arrived safely with minimal damage. I will scan them and post it here next week.

...............

I leave you with a quote from the sadly lost author Douglas Adams: "So long and thanks for all the fish"

Always sad to see someone leave.
One of my cards was for you and I hope you like it.

I am not sure why you chose to leave the feedback here, there is a feedback section for this kind of stuff. If you want to influence any change then that might be a better place to have a constructive criticism.
I will propose this post is moved there for that reason, I do not want to reply to your points here as that would be off-topic.

I've moved Idleidolidyll's post to 'about.Dyxum' as suggested.

@nandbytes -- thanks for confirming that my card arrived. I am 6 for 6, cards sent and landed. Nice work, global postal services!

I am still waiting for my card from Fred_S to arrive though. I wonder where his card to me might be stuck. I hope it is still headed this way.

@BobJ ... nice to see you here! Crazy to think that we met up in Anaheim/SoCal just before the world shut down. Hope you're well!

It arrived a while back actually, sorry just didn't update here.

Been feeling absolutely terrible the last month (health wise). On the mend now.

It might be kidnapped by a stamp collector
