Wonderful images Michael. My first Meyer was the humble Primotar 50/3.5. The 2.8 is on my wish list but have not found one for the right money. One day...

+1 ;-) There is one offered on MP, but I haven't convinced myself to buy it.

Just bought a Welta Penti with a Trioplan 3.5/30mm just for fun and next to nothing. Let's see if I can transplant it succesfully to digital.

Yeah, this old 2.8 version doesn't show up that often and then again for a reasonable price. If I'm not mistaken then only was offered new for one year back then. Just had luck to find this one low priced as well as still in good overall condition. Though meanwhile I took it apart to clean the lens elements.

My next DIY project for a lens transplant to digital:
The Trioplan 3.5/30mm on Welti half-frame camera.
Great help from Leo an Paul how (not) to approach this operation

Paul, noticed this as well, actually quite ugly when viewed at 100%
Now, do I have to sand the front or rear lens element of my copy to get rid of this?!

Lots of character in that robot lens Paul!

Haven't poste here for a while, althogh my April Follishness lens is the Meyer Telefogar 3.5/90mm, a fine short tele.

I'll share some recent outtakes here.

One day I'll pick up a Telefogar for the collection, but like the 100/2.8 Orestor a fine lens but not a lot of character. I like what you did here Fred, particularly inside the barrier.

Some more with this pre-WW2 uncoated Primotar. Made for 24 mm frame but covers the 35 mm with a nice vignette and swirl.
