My last roll was taken on the Leica M2 so to get back to the Minolta family I have just secured a Minolta Autocord. It was from a dealer with a 3 month warranty and has had a full CLA and new seals throughout, and for its age looks pretty good with no obvious damage or defects cosmetically.
 I already have a Microcord (after having borrowed Bob J's for a while, thanks Bob) but although I really would like a Rolleiflex (maybe one day) various Internet reviews describe the Minolta TLR as almost as good at 10% of the cost. Should arrive early next week and I have a roll of 120 Ilford HP5 plus ready for it. As they say, watch this space..... Nearly forgot, the Lab-Box kit I successfully used for my last roll of 35mm also includes the module for 120 film so I should be able to develop myself, in daylight, without the dark bag. Great. |

Well done - I have an Autocord (and indeed slightly faulty Yashicamat), and I really ought to be using it more. It was I think my declared intention to use it in the last challenge, and as I failed to do so I should work that in to this year’s challenge.
I find using the TLR really slows me down, in a good way, making me take more time to take the pictures. I look forward to seeing your results. |

I tested the Minolta 400si before selling it. Pretty nice camera.
The photos were taken between November 24 and December 12. Developed in the lab and scanned by me with the Plustek 7600i. Film: Kodak Ultra 400 24 exp. So 8 photos. # 1 Sunset from Battery Park.
