They keep coming!
Today from Matt (alpha_in_exile): A striking image of part of a rail bridge now part of a rail trail. I love the strong contrast and bang-on composition. Thanks Matt

I'm finally getting a chance to post my card from gregja that I received on November 9th. Surprisingly quick from Australia since the postcard was dated Oct 22nd. The card is in very good shape, smudges that you can only see at an angle, and some light bar coding.

It's a street scene from Marrickville, a suburb of Sydney that looks very much like Oakland, California's Chinatown. You'll find Vietnamese shops in Oakland and Sydney. I need to visit Sydney one day, mostly likely to go watch the Australian Open.

Thanks, Greg!

I've received 4 cards now, expecting two more. With luck, they arrive soon.

Hello all, just popping in to give an update since I have gone a bit quiet.
I have not forgotten this but I have had bit of a journey!

My printer wasn't working so I decided to order some prints. Thanks to the many many postal strikes I never received my prints (they made me wait 15 days). Then they sent me a replacement set which when it did arrived was damaged (from rain)

I have finally got my printer printing monochrome again, so I have decided to print mono and post them instead.
I cannot figure out why its not liking full colour, looks like the software or driver or something is messed up. I am sick of trying to fix it now!

I guess its not all bad, I did colour couple years back, did b&w last year and I guess it kinda fits I do mono colour this time. That's my justification anyway

I have received 3 prints so far, still waiting for two more
I will share the postcards eventually but they are all lovely, and hoping to see a couple more. Thanks to everyone for sending it across

I have received 4 actually. One of them came in an envelope so somehow it didn't register mentally

I have got yours (Fred_S), MiPr, Howard and alpha_in_exile.

All came undamaged which is a first.... though there is one more to go

All the postal strikes in this country isn't helping in case the card has been posted and you are worried why its not here yet.

Hurray! 10th card confirmed! So only one missing - 10/11 is quite good result.

Ok, here is finally the scans of the cards I received:

First, Harald's card was bit larger than the others:

And most of the texts on the other side were also printed:

(Interesting note that I also noticed myself a while ago: in Germany there doesn't seem to be individual stamps with suitable value for sending a card to Finland)

Then here is photo sides of Pieter's and Harm's cards (the first mentioned photo I recall seeing already earlier on Dyxum while ago):

And the other sides:

Interesting that Pieter's card had an sticker attached denoting that Posti had trouble reading the address. Harm's card was the only card that had any significant damage and even that was just a folded corner.

Howard's and Art's cards both featured a vehicle as the photo:

And the other sides looked like this:

Art's card had also a sticker (albeit bit different kind of) with clarified address printed, although here I can almost understand the reason: street address did seem to lack space between streetname and numbers (although note that I blurred the street addresses and postcodes to give little privacy to myself).

Matt's "card" was double-sided and arrived in an envelope (which I didn't scan):

Hi Heikki ... I knew my card to you might have trouble because I smushed all of the last bits of your address together, wasn't careful with my writing. I didn't want to to re-write the postcard, LOL. I'm glad it made it OK still!

Another un-canceled stamp!

@KoBra64/Peter ... your card arrived yesterday Tuesday 11/22/22! I'm not sure if this is the original one you sent, or the backup one. It's of the floating artwork at the Mendini museum. The card and postage have no dates on them.

We're prepping for our Thanksgiving weekend, so will try to scan and post in the next couple of days. Very little damage to the card. Looks great, just some tiny smudging and corner wear.

Happy Thanksgiving, all!

@KoBra64/Peter ... I think this is the 2nd card you sent. It looks like it was shipped directly from your card vendor. Again, I will scan and post it here soon.

@Heikki: There are 95 cent stamps for international postcards (they look like the 10 cent stamp - different flower), but I thought Neuschwanstein would be a nice image to have on the back of the card.
