@KoBra64/Peter ... your card arrived yesterday Tuesday 11/22/22! I'm not sure if this is the original one you sent, or the backup one. It's of the floating artwork at the Mendini museum. The card and postage have no dates on them.

We're prepping for our Thanksgiving weekend, so will try to scan and post in the next couple of days. Very little damage to the card. Looks great, just some tiny smudging and corner wear.

Happy Thanksgiving, all!

Good to know you received it in good shape and thanks for the update. The difference between both cards is at the first one your address was written by me and in the second it was printed by the company.

So, for now that's 100% delivered and 60% received. Still waiting for the cards from nandbytes and hezu.

I'm afraid I completely forgot to report that two weeks ago (OMG, is that 2 weeks already? ) I got an intriguing card from Greg (gregja). Intriguing because at first I thought it's a plam tree leaf but it turned out to be spidersweb :)
I'll post the card soon.

I'm finally getting a chance to post KoBra64's card to me. Arrived Nov 22nd, send approx Nov 8th ... a quick trip.

It's an image of the floating sculptures at the Mendini Museum. I love the whimsical nature of the pieces. Very little damage. If you look closely, a little smudge at the bottom of the image.

Thanks, Peter. Maybe your handwritten one will arrive one of these days!

I definitely need to visit the Netherlands one of these days soon. Big Netherlands-US matchup in the World Cup coming soon.

You're welcome and, Groningen is beautifull . The game, yes in a few hours and I am not convinced we will beat the US. We'll see.

Today in the mailbox a card from MiPr! Happy to see this one arrived as it has the wrong address number 77 instead of 70. Maybe some of you recall, at first I did send a wrong house number last year. Someone now wrote: 70? on it dropped it in our mailbox.
The card is in good condition. Thanks Mirek!

That reminded me that I still had to post the card send by nandbytes, received 2 weeks ago. Received the Lego queen in good shape. Thanks Anand!

WoW! I completely forgot about that Peter and for my "spares" I was using addresses which I got on previous DPEs I'm happy it arrived. This makes 11/11 for me - great.

In the meantime - I'm also happy to report that I've got a card from Greg (gregja) - loooong journey from Australia, but it finally arrived.

Bummer! It seems that I mixed cards, LOL. The new one that just arrived was from Anand

First the card from Greg:

At first I was a bit puzzled with what it shows - my first impression was along palm tree leaves, but then - spiders web indeed :)

Then the next problem - how to look at it? Turning around I found the most pleasing for me orientation ...

... keeping it, let's take a look at the back of the card

Yes, I know, I'm crazy

Now the card from Anand

I just love it! Cyan toning works very well, nice contrast, interesting composition

Now a few words about the photo - right from the author:

Thank you!

Merry Xmas, Happy Holidays, all! So nice to see cards continue to land at their destinations!! With luck, I receive a card from Anand soon. I was 7 for 7 send and arrived. 5 of 6 received, one more expected from Anand. MiPr, what a great idea to send to addresses from prior years! Next time.

@KoBra64 ... what an excellent World Cup final!! I am not a big soccer/football fan, but I was hooked. Next WC is here in the States United (that's how the US team jerseys were prepped!).

Receipt says my order was placed at 29.9.2022 15:07. Since I used card sending service, I never even saw the cards in printed form, but since I have seen at least one report on my card arriving I suppose the cards were mailed successfully and might be still somewhere in the postal systems... I did struggle a bit with the mail address formatting since the Posti service seemed to force an address format commonly used in Finland, but I can't believe that could cause a total failure in postcard delivery...

And somehow I'm bit of a cheapskate to resend the cards...
