Slow process for me this year. I'll be using Moo to print cards this year..I'll send everything for printing this weekend but then it's got to get from them to me in Australia and then back out across the globe...

As a nice challenge and exercise I decided to walk to the nearest mailbox at 600m from home, so my cards are underway!

The first card has arrived - it's from Howard! (Thank you!). I will scan it ASAP.

My cards have been printed, but I still have to get some stamps to send them off.

This is the first postcard which I received from Howard - a robin singing! Thank you, Howard!

Now that I got stamps (showing probably the most photographed building in Germany) I managed to send off nine cards this morning - five in color, four in b/w.

I received my first card today in very good condition, a lovely scene, Estate ter Coulster, taken by Fred_S. Thanks Fred!

And, I am fine, I hope you are too.

I think we usually respond to posting a received card by showing the original ...

Robin singing

My theme for my cards this year was cards sent from a holiday - the one I had a couple of weeks ago.

This robin was singing loudly in a tree next to the cottage we were renting near the coast in Dorset.

I used CEWE to make the cards and here cropped the source to make a 3:2 card.

So nice to see the cards landing!! Thanks for the posts. My cards have been traveling since late last week. I'm excited to hear about the first one to drop. I expect that one will be the one that was sent domestically, the other side of the U.S.

My pleasure Peter!
Good to see my first card has landed, although this one had just a little journey to go.

Quick update

My first card arrived yesterday morning in the post, it's from KoBra64 with a wall painting of a building in Groningen. A nice photo and the card came in in a very good condition, just some very minor rub marks and very slight bent corners. Thanks Peter!

A bit late, sorry. I am glad you like it Pieter. Thanks for the update.

Howard - you use a camera with a square sensor? And then you crop the image to achieve a 3:2 ratio? Amazing!
