In certain way, despite the flexibility I had quite hard time to get started with this challenge. I knew I would probably try to follow week/subject pace, but not until evening I wasn't sure which one I would pick to begin with. I was primarily tossing between street and macro and finally chose the latter since it is something I like to do. Street I considered since I'm spending this week in the city for sure, but something kept me from trying this just now. Landscape I certainly save for later since it can be done also in less populated locations and I may be in one later this month. Not sure about my adventures in flash photography yet, probably at least some macro flash usage for sure and I may save this for latter part of the month given that then the nights start to get slightly darker and there might be actual need for additional lighting.

The focus is not the problem, it is keeping the camera steady - with the magnification all the pictures were crooked. I am not used to macro photography and it seems I cannot do it on the fly, maybe I should use a tripod.

I can't see that photo, I wonder if Dyxum is rejecting it because it was shot on Olympus...

And interesting general note of this challenge so far: majority of those participants who have so far posted something every day, have chosen the tactic to cover multiple subjects rather than sticking with one for whole week.

Yes Addy, well spotted. I must say it's an insane purchase but also addictive to use. Since I already had an (almost) complete set of M-lenses (for use on my A7's and my film M2) I only had to buy a body to be in business and since my full colour Sony's work well with these lenses anyway the only way to get something unique is to go for a monochrom. And since the organiser of this challenge allows other cameras to be used I obviously want to show off this new addiction

But I'll try to not use it for more than half of my challenge shots.
