2022 July Classical Subjects Weeks

Week C:
Street Photography

Day 4


This thread is for posting your photos on the classical subject "street photography" for Day 4 (= July 7, 14, 21 or 28) of Week C of the 2022 July Classical Subjects Weeks.


Rules:


- no talk please, there is a Talk thread for this purpose;
- each member participating in the 2022 July Classical Subjects Weeks challenge is allowed to post exactly one photo here;
- shots must not be posted here earlier than July 4, but can be posted later;
- a title, exif info, purpose and story of the shot, and (a short indication of) your challenge are all good extra infos to provide and help others to comment;
- if participants would like to show more photos: we have the Outtakes for this purpose.
- you can start your mini-gallery in the Thumbnail thread.

Day 4, Thursday Street

Some of the Dutch members will recognise this place, it's Maarten Kleijwegt's "gem store" Fotohandel Delfshaven (Vrouwjuttenland, Delft) which specialises in analog cameras and fitting lenses.

When I came back from testing one of the lenses he had for sale (which I resisted buying) I saw these two youngsters finishing their lunch so took a quick shot. When talking to them later I found out they were both from Shanghai, the guy studying in Delft and the girl studying in the US. Both were interested in analog photography and went into the shop a little later to look at the vast collection of merchandise and to buy some film.

This may not be the most traditional street photo and the situation took place bit too suddenly that I didn't even notice the less than optimal shutter speed, but I still want to publish this here...
