Hopefully they all end up where they're supposed to
With luck you got the "Global Forever" stamps for the ones going overseas. There are separate domestic postcard stamps too. Safe travels, postcards!

We did get international stamps, but we weren't sure if they were tied to the home country of the address. They all looked the same and had the same markings.

They weren't the global forever stamps. Yours are coming for sure though

For the international group, we decided if they got mis-delivered or not delivered, we'd just reprint and re-send. We have a ton of spare backs and prints are fairly cheap.

I'm looking forward to getting your card, Vincent! In the posts above, you'll see examples of the Global Forever ones from recent years, those round stamps. I think the USPS changes the design every year or two.

I love seeing so many cards landing already. With luck I receive one and one of mine arrives soon!

So here is Art's card from Southern California. And it is in absolute pristine condition! Not a mark or crease on the front and the usual franking on the back. I don't think I've ever had a card from the DPE years in such good condition. Are you sure you didn't hop on a private jet and drop it in to my postbox by hand?

Thank you Art. A vibrant colourful image of your own shop in Chinatown, LA.

Oh wow, Brian. That was a super quick trip, just 5 days to travel roughly 5400 miles/8700 km. And in incredible condition. Amazing!

I hope they made it safely! I'm curious if they are in as good shape as the one that landed in Brian's mailbox. USPS Informed Delivery is a cool feature of our postal system!

They did indeed arrive. There is a minor scuff in a middle of each one, i'm sure from a roller somewhere in the USPS's network of belts and machinery . Other than that and bent corners, they arrived in tip top shape!

The falcon 9 launch shot was really neat. We've been talking about going to NASA here in Houston and touring the facilities. You can even visit Mission Control! Britt also thought the street art was super cool. We were wondering if that is a permanent installation?

Thanks for the update, Vincent! Glad my cards made it safely, and quickly. Those are classic postcard scuffs, right in the middle unfortunately.

The Falcon 9 card is upside-down, LOL. It was flying north-to-south, high above me going right-to-left as I was looking west. It's always cool to see the launches. I want to go see a launch up close one of these days, Vandenberg Space Force Base isn't too far away, about 160 NW of here, but probably requires an overnight stay. There's risk though since there's a chance a launch is scrubbed due to weather or a mechanical.

RE: the artwork at the ROW DTLA, those triangles have been there on the ground for a few years now. I always take pics of interesting street art -- wall art, graffiti and the like -- since it might now be there next time I go. ROW DTLA is a re-purposed commercial district, formerly the terminus of the Southern Pacific railroad. Definitely a cool spot to look around and shop here in La La Land ... more info here about ROW DTLA.

Great to see all the cards landing! Just came home from a wonderful week in Scotland and found three beautiful cards from Bonnville, ADub128 and Roger Rex. I will scan and post them later. Thanks for now already.

Dena's card arrived last friday in very good shape, a very nice registration of a waterfall with the galaxy. Some scuffing, only to be seen in the right light.
Thanks Dena!
