2023 has been a busy year visiting all sorts of race events. I thought rather than to post separately just give a year overview. Visited the usual Dutch events but I always try to cross-off one of my bucket list events. Last year this was FOS, this year I went down south to visit Le Mans Classic. Man what an event that is, equal level of quality compared to FOS. Also visited some events with my son and managed to leave my camera at home, so no pics from WEC 6hrs of Spa and Harms cute DAF cruising around Zandvoort. I tried to select a number of different shots but as always a lot of panning remains.

1) Little Lotus 11 through Dunlop (Le Mans Classic)

2) 911RSR chasing his big brothers into Tertre Rouge (Le Mans Classic)

3) Cat through the Esses (Le Mans Classic)

4) Iconic Psychedelic 917LH through Tertre Rouge (Le Mans Classic)

5) 911RSR Night shot @Dunlop (Le Mans Classic), my A99 at it's limit

6) Intense racing (Le Mans Classic)

7) MC12 leading through the Esses (Le Mans Classic)

8) De Tomasso Pantera in Tertre Rouge (Le Mans Classic)

9) Il Drogo (Le Mans Classic)

10) Praga R1 (Jack's Racing Day - Assen)

11) Coronel brothers Paris-Dakar beast in GT-corner (Jack's Racing Day - Assen)

12) Pitwall shot of Opel Lotus (Classic GP - Assen)

13) Natural inhabitants of Assen (Classic GP - Assen)

14) Shrubbery shot of 308GTB (Hellendoorn Rally - SS Notter)

15) Cute Opel Adam (Hellendoorn Rally - SS Markelo)

16) Rally vibe; speed, light, fire and a Mistubishi EVO... (Hellendoorn Rally - SS Den Ham)

Very nice panning work. I especially like the night shot, #5 and #14 - both quite different from the norm which sets them apart from the many, many "regular" shots we see like this. The "regular" shots all done technically extremely well.

Looks like you have been in many interesting places. In #7, i think the MC12 holds the LMP up a bit. For me #14 also works very well, and i also love the panning shots, especially #12 and 13. TFS Remko

A lot of classic races you have attended. And dome nice panning here and there.
But #14 really stands out.

I love the selection of subjects as well as the technical execution. However, #14 stands out as a truly amazing shot. Thanks for sharing these.

Thanks all for the nice reactions. Bit surprised to see most of you like nr.14. Sure I like it otherwise I would not have posted it but I was more pleased with some other shots form the series. Nevertheless as you liked it another one of the same car.

17) Ferrari fly-by

And being on the subject of rally, I also liked the next one although already a bit a too standard panning shot.

18) DS3 R2 at speed

By the way, the nr.14 is not a new though, I also did a similar shot during the Eiffel Rally back in 2019.

19) 205T16 EVO2 Forrest run
