Hello

Afterlookimg a long time finally I found a LCD for my 7D.
But I've got a little problem.
http://camerarepairworkshop.co.uk is selling the LCD. They have sent me an email.

"Hi Milczuk,
                 We can take a card payment by phone.So give me a call with the long card number and 3 numbers on the back.I will post the LCD out then."

So far I know with these details they can use my account as they like.
Have anyone made from you guys made such a payment?
I need this LCD really bad. But I don't want spent my entire money on it :P

I can't help with that one, the 7d's got a different screen to the 5d. It maybe worth searching to see if the a100's lcd is the same as the 7d as I know that is a little different to the 5's again

Im looking for a complet LCD for my Minolta 7D. Anyone has one for sale? At the time im living in switzerland.

I've 2 bodies at the moment one with no ss and another with it working,but both seem to be have wb issues, in awb both have a pink cast, if its manually set seems to shoot ok, it's all bit strange

I've still got the body for my 5D, but it's a monument now. Not sure if I kept the batteries or chargers though...

Ahoy Matt!

What exactly is the battery issues you describe? I can only assume either the battery/ies is/are old and doesn't hold a full or sufficient charge for the 7D to function or there's a contact issue which may just require a wipe to clean them of any tarnish build-up.

Do you still have the 7D and if so, are you going to list it? I think most peoples main concerns are with first frame black (FFB) which is an expensive fix and not financially viable based on the likely selling price in proper working condition as you'll probably be lucky to recover just the repair bill.

I'm just being a nosy parker, but an update would be welcome.

As a thought, has anyone got in touch with Camera Repair Workshop in MK to enquire if they would accept donated 5D and 7D's for parts?

Well got another 5d potentially for the bone yard, can't figure.out the issue with it, all shots underexposed and at times with a green hue
