OK, It's just I have a 5D body gathering dust in the kitchen next to my broken LR mugs and radio mugs with my callsign on ;)

Well, it could be that both are the same but they have different model and part numbers (EC-1400/EC-1500), but it dawned on me that the Sony FDA-ME1AM 1.15x magnifying eyecup fits both A700 and A850, so the 5D eyecup may well fit the 7D. I was merely using the different part/model numbers as being camera specific, so unless anyone can confirm if they're interchangeable, then maybe your 5D could be used as a donor for the 2x parts required for the 7D.

Hello everyone. I hope to have found the right place. I am looking for a body of KM 5 d order to repair my camera, KM 5 d. I don't know if anyone in this forum are encouraged to sell. Or as another possibility, it is also, if anyone know where could get spares for this wonderful camera. From already thank you for your response and hope to be able to solve my problem.
