As the Washington area locks down

1.

The familiar signs of spring is still here, though muted

2.

3.

4.

And as the days move on, the familiar is just a little bit different

5.

6.

7.

8.

And in the harshness of it all, the light still shines on life

It was time to try out some of the old Minolta lenses on the A7II. Image 5 was taken with the 35-70mm, the macros were taken with the 100mm f4 macro. Thanks for looking.

While I certainly have memory issues , this may be my favorite series that you have ever posted. A very different aesthetic than Huntley Meadows images. #'s 2 and 8 are exquisite and #'s 4 and 5 are special as well. Quite nice collection of images.

Thanks Roger. I hope that you are staying healthy and well wherever you are. There are now over 1000 people infected with the virus in Maryland, Virginia and DC. We are not in as bad as shape as NY though. I hope that a vaccine will be made sooner or later and that medication to treat victims will be available soon. This is quite a time for everyone in the planet.

It's strange. Aside from the picture that I took of my office parking lot, the rest of the pictures were taken within twenty feet of my front and back doors.

I wish you well.
