Thanks for the comments. I was tempted to remove the obstruction but I thought that even though it wasn't perfect, the beauty is still there. So it stayed.

Nothing wrong with a little trimming before the shot. I even keep a small pair of scissors in the bag for just such a case.

Gorgeous flower. The leaf distracts a lot, the shots still looks beautiful but doesn't do the flower the justice it deserves. TFS Winston    .
