A couple of nights ago, one of the local news stations (Milwaukee, WI, USA) had a human interest story about a local photographer who is legally blind. She suffers from rentinitis pigmentosa and her peripheral vision is reduced to 20%. The lens on her camera caught my eye, because it sure looked like a MAF 70-210. The film went too fast for me to read the camera brand, so I rewound it a few times trying to capture the frame showing the camera. I was right, it did say Minolta. Much to my surprise it was a Maxxum 9.

I've never owned one but can understand her desire to not want to upgrade.
