Nice shots Peter, from all three
![]() #1 is surprisingly soft for the Kinon #3 almost looks like a composite with the sharp trunk in the middle #4 and 5 are typically nice Trioplan bokehs. I like that "halo" around the shroom in the middle TFS |

Thanks Fred.
3 certainly is no composite but it really sticks out. This is like it was. The halo, yes. The saint ![]() |

I went Shroom hunting during my lunch break with a Meyer Görlitz Trioplan 1:2,8 f=17mm, (approximately 1940). Turns out this tiny C-mount wide angle miracle of a Meyer is sharp, charming, swirly and has a reasonable coverage on APSC. It doesn’t have a focusing helicoid as 17 mm on 16mm film is very wide and at f/2.8 DOF is from here to eternity. On the APSC sensor DOF is remarkably small, focusing is required and as the M25 thread on the C-mount is very long it can be used for focusing and MFD is like 4”/10 cm.
I call them Mushrooms in the enchanted forest. 1: ![]() 2: ![]() 3: ![]() 4: ![]() 5: ![]() 6: ![]() 7: ![]() 8: ![]() 9: ![]() |

That was a fruitful lunchwalk Paul! That f=17mm Trioplan gives an interesting view on the world!
And that f=7,5cm, well what can I say... ![]() ![]() |

I just picked up a Beirette camera with a f3.5/45mm for next to nothing as an experiment.
Couldn't neatly remove the lens, so the camera is lost, but i bought it for the lens anyhow. Have to do a bit more work to get the shutte going... Hope to show some results here soon. |

I did that a couple of times, the camera always gets tortured to release its lens. I have a 3.5/45 Trioplan from a Pentinaand a 2.8/45 Domiplan from a Beirette K which must be a later model than jour copy. Both show their Meyer heritage. |

Love that bokeh, Fred.
I get depressed sometimes when I realize my age, how time is passing quickly; weeks like days, months like weeks, and years... All this precious time passing and still no Trioplan 100mm to play with ![]() |

Here is my latest aquisition: The Trioplan f3.5/45mm, SN2961859, as mentioned from a Beirette Junior II.
It was my first surgery, operation succeeded, but camera died. After detaching the lens, I also removed the shutterblades, which were stuck (already). But without a 'T' option on the shutter, I didn't need the blades anyhow. Fisrt time I opened a lens so far and deep., but that gave me the opportunity to clean it a bit as well. #1 (taken with Trioplan 2.8/100mm) ![]() I guess you want to see some first results as well. Okay, here we go. A few snaps from this afternooon. #2 ![]() #3 ![]() #4 ![]() #5 ![]() #6 ![]() #7 ![]() #8 ![]() Edited by Fred_S - 17 October 2020 at 18:04 |

Thanks Ine! Indeed, the T100 is hard to beat, but for a few euro's this T45mm is nice enough ![]() Edited by Fred_S - 21 October 2020 at 20:02 |
