Some rumours about sea parkle, so a good reason to go to he beach at night.
Not as spectactar as last year though. Also the light from the almost full moon didn't help.

A few shots with A99ii + 24-70 ZA SSM.

#1 Looking north

#2 Looking south

#3 Splashing to make the sparkle visible

#4 Sparkle

#5 Blue waves

Very nice Fred, certainly a worthwhile evening spent there. #2 brings back good memories (allthough the Ferris wheel is new to me) and #5 has a nice quiet atmosphere.
You can see the April Foolishness 2021 exhibition here Another great show of the talent we have on Dyxum

I like the fifth and six pictures the best. Makes me want to go to the beach - but the nearby ones (within two hours) are too packed. So we are beachless for another season.

Thanks Pieter and Winston!

The Ferris wheel was there only for a week during the fair ('kermis').
The lights were out already
