Appearances are deceptive! No crops Mike.

Okay, okay, enjoy your Telemegors.

Last evening I went to Brookgreen Gardens to enjoy the Night of a Thousand Candles. Well, that's how it started, but today there are thousands more candles and streaming lights that must total somewhere in the seven figures. Their Christmas tree alone has 130,000 lights. Yes, it is a very large tree. I was well aware that in my 46 years of photography, I have only shot at nighttime a handful of times. These are only the few shots from the Kinon Superior 1.8/50 and A7 II. Caution: Nudity.

Regards,

woodrim

Nudity, no less! That last one has just the right highlights Mike!

Congrats Fred! I like the looks of the aluminium lenses, that is when they are not oxidised by age. The pre-war chrome-over-brass lenses are even prettier, but they are extremely heavy and more expensive (and uncoated). I have an ugly black 250, close focussing it renders out of focus areas beautifully.

A quick look at your flickr album helped to convince myself
There is some oxide on the outside, but glass and mechanics are fine. But for 35 + some shipping I felt it was not a bad deal.

A few more outtakes from Week 50, Day 6.
Domiplan 2.8/50mm + 12mm tube on A99ii

Hadn't used this lens much this year, but it was nice to pick it up again for Week 50.

Also some fun in the snow with the Primoplan today

Primoplan 1.9/58mm on A99ii. Really like that lens!

35 is a no-brainer Fred!

To conclude the Meyer year I still have some work to do. Tele Megor 180, Telemegor 250+300+400, Primotar 180. I think I saved them for last because I so struggle with them. Inspiration is what I need.
