I'm not sure about the ergonomics on this.
Could be a bad direction for Sony.

At least Sony reversed the direction of the 330/380 of tiny grips.
![]() Since wishlists are nearly as accurate as interweb rumors, I'd like to wish for HX1's sweep panorama, and low-light/motion blur modes. I figured they were neat marketing buttons until I tried them myself, and am really impressed. I wouldn't even complain if those modes were jpg-only, which I suspect they have to be for now. Sony could even call those the 'Suckit, CaNikon!' modes. ![]() Edited by utcreeper - 23 June 2009 at 22:20 |

I did get to play with the Pano mode on the HX1. Amazingly easy. I am trying to get my hands on a friends new HX1 to give it a better attempt and something worth photographing.

I have a HX1 and its a very fun camera to use. :)
Yeah I wouldnt mind a anti-blur/twilight mode, panorama mode (though higher resolution) and a 10fps shutter! Damn its fast on the HX1.. Rrrr, and you have 10 shots. ![]() |

No kidding. Even if it's not a sustained 10fps .. it's still 10 fps every now and then. I'm no engineer, but I'd guess that if those features could be fit in something the size of the HX1, it wouldn't be toooo hard to enable them in a body the size of an SLR. In the 'me too' checkbox-marketing campaigns, Sony could jump to the front of the line instead of making excuses for being at the end of the line. Plus I think they are really cool features, and I'd actually use them.
