Somehow, perhaps during travel, the door got off-kilter and wouldn't close. I took a look and saw that the end(s) of the thin wire spring thing were sticking out of the cover on the hinge side, so I managed to get them in. However, it still won't close. Despite the door hinge not appearing to have any gaps on either end, one of the short side parts that are supposed to go inside when you close the door doesn't and hits the outside of the camera. I don't see anything wrong there either. I tried to push on that part, but that didn't work.

The slot itself is fine, as is the switch. I see there are some third party doors, but I don't know how difficult it is to replace. Does anyone know?

TIA

Although the door mechanism on α7R III and α1 is somewhat different: α7R III has this small lever to open the door, α1 has lock lever and then you open the door manually.
