I don't know if this is old news or not, but there's a lens compatibility page for continuous shooting with the A9:

There are quite a few caveats.

Some E-mount lenses support 20fps; others don't.

And interestingly, when using A-mount lenses, most of the LA-EA adapters do not support continuous AF except at the lowest frame rate. The only exception is the LA-EA3.
