Anyone has or knows a known issue with a99ii when paired with Rokinon 14mm 2.8? The shutter would only release once and the camera would lock up. I have to turn the camera off, take the battery out, put it back in, and turn the camera on again. It will take one shot then the shutter won't release again until I take the battery out and put it back in again.

Shutter release without lens is enabled and the body works fine with CZ 24-70.

Is this a known issue?

Thank you.

Sounds like it's an issue that's been reported on before if you are shooting with the camera set to continuous shots and it's a lens with no contacts.

I have the Bell & Howell branding of the Rokinon 14mm - it works fine with my A99ii, but I doubt I've used it on continuous shooting.

What is the firmware version?

SONY:
A known minor bug of 99II, "When shooting continuously in low speed mode (L) with a lens without electronic contacts, it hangs and the memory card is broken" is fixed in 1.01.

Original version. I bought it and it has been sitting in the box mostly. I'll update it and hopefully it'll resolve the issue. Thank you for posting this!
